Councils providing incentives for parents to use real nappies

Some of the council websites offer useful information on where to buy/launder nappies locally. If your council isn't listed check with them directly to see if they are offering any incentives for using real nappies.
Bracknell Forest Borough Council is offering parents the chance to claim £30 for going ‘green’ and using washable nappies.
Bromley Borough Council offer parents using cloth nappies a Real Nappy Reward of £30.
Derbyshire County Council offer a £25 cash back incentive for purchases of real nappies to wash at home or for the use of a laundry service.
Essex County Council Provides a sample pack of cloth nappies for £10 (worth nearly £30). You can claim £10 refund voucher when you purchase cloth nappies from any retailer or mail order company or when you join a nappy laundry service. £10 refund does not apply to sample packs.

Kent County Council offer discounts of up to £30 per child if real nappies are purchased from a supplier currently signed up to the 'changing nappies' scheme.
Leicestershire County Council offer a £30 refund when they buy Real Nappies, or use a nappy laundry service.
Manchester City Council is offering a month free trial with Cotton Tails nappy laundry service to all Manchester City Council residents.
Medway Council offer a £30 financial incentive, payable in three instalments, to parents.
Milton Keynes Council offer £30 cash back on washable nappies.
Norfolk County Council is offering a £30 discount. To claim your one off discount your child must be between 0-24 months and you must spend £45 or more on washable nappies, liners, and wraps or towards the cost of a nappy laundry service.
Northamptonshire County Council When you purchase a pack of washable nappies from any company, or subscribe to a nappy laundry service and spend over £75, Northamptonshire County Council will give you £25 back. The saving in landfill tax.
Northumberland County Council offer a £30 cash back scheme for people using real nappies.
Sedgefield Borough Council currently offers a 20% discount on real nappies purchased through a number of local agents, as part of their Cottontail Real Nappy promotion scheme.
Three rivers offers £40 cash back to families who buy and launder their own real nappies, or £80 to those who join a nappy laundering service for at least six months. The scheme is operated in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council, and part of the cost is covered by the sale of nappy refuse sacks to families who still use disposable nappies, to encourage them to give real nappies a try and make even more savings.
Westminster City Council offers parents £40 towards the first month of using a nappy washing service.
West Sussex County Council offers FREE Starter Packs for babies aged 0 - 4 months and a cashback scheme of up to £30 if you continue to use cotton nappies until baby is potty trained.
