Gender Prediction – Baby Gender Prediction with the use of Ramzi and Nub Theory.

You’re pregnant! Congratulations! Amongst all the celebrating, baby shopping and preparation there is just one thing on your mind…. What is the sex of your unborn baby? There are many baby gender theories circulating the web, however many have little or no proven studies to suggest they are anything other than old wives tales.

With many years as a sonographer I have seen everything and just about read and studied every theory over the last 8 years, Nub being the most accurate of all.

Gender Prediction with Nub Theory

Nub theory is also referred to the “angle of dangle”. Before 15 weeks of gestation, both sexes have genital tubercles. It is possible to determine the gender of the unborn baby between 12-14 weeks of gestation by careful analysis of the shape and angle of the nub. The ultrasound scan must be viewed in the profile mode, to enable viewing of the spine and the relationship of the nub to the spine.

How is the sex determined?

If the angle of position of the nub in relation to the spine is greater than 30 degrees, it is likely a male fetus. However, if the nub is pointing straight out, down, or under 30 degrees, it is most likely a female fetus.

How accurate is the Nub theory?

Determining gender with the use of this method has proven highly accurate. Many studies have proven over 88% accuracy at 12 weeks when scanning in a controlled setting. However, the accuracy depends on the visibility of the nub. At 12 weeks, the accuracy is 88% and 95% accuracy at week 14.

Gender Prediction with Ramzi Theory

According to original research conducted by Dr. Saad Ramzi Ismaal which involved over 5,000 fetal ultrasound scans, fetus gender can be accurately determined as early as six weeks gestation based on the position of the placenta. It was found that 97.2% of the male fetuses had their placenta attached to the right side of the mother uterus while 97.5% of female fetuses were positioned to the left side of the uterus.

It is strongly advised for anyone who is interested in this gender determination theory to research the official study, which is available at gender-prediction.com, It is a great starting point to understand how this theory works and the origins of this theory.
